Rose and Aaron’s wedding at Wickham Estate Vineyard was a day full of love, laughter, and plenty of memorable moments. With 100 guests joining them across the day, it was an intimate celebration set against the scenic backdrop of the vineyard in March.
The morning began in the on-site cottage, where Rose and her family prepared for the day ahead. The atmosphere was lively and relaxed as I captured the bridal preparations, while also popping over to photograph Aaron and his groomsmen before the ceremony.
After their vows, Rose and Aaron included their two beloved dogs in the post-ceremony photos, adding a personal touch that had everyone smiling. Although March doesn’t offer much natural colour, we made the most of the soft, flattering light and found some beautiful camellias and grasses around the property to frame their portraits.
Later in the evening, the heavens opened, and the rain added an unexpected twist. It poured so heavily that the car park flooded, but Rose and Aaron took it in stride. The rain even became an asset for some dramatic, creative photos under the night sky.
As the day transitioned into the evening, the dancefloor came alive. It was packed until the very end, with guests letting loose and celebrating the couple in style. It was clear that everyone had an amazing time, making this wedding truly unforgettable.
