Syon Park Wedding PhotographyBex & Tom

One of my most enjoyable weddings of this year was Bex and Tom’s day at Syon Park.
The venue itself leant perfectly to Bex and Tom’s crazy party of family and friends who were some of the loveliest, fun and accommodating people I’ve had the pleasure of being around. Even the venue staff, caterers and security had a wicked sense of humor. Everyone welcomed me into their spaces and as a result I felt a true part of the day. I had fun with everyone and was genuinely able to create and capture some absolutely fantastic moments.
I was also there right until the very end too. This was the first year I’ve started to offer unlimited cover as an option and it was totally worth it.
On top of all this Syon Park itself served as the perfect background to everything with several areas of interest. From Syon House for the ceremony, The Courtyard for reception and the Great Conservatory for dinner and dancing I really was quite spoilt for colour and structure to shoot.
It was in the evening that things really lit up though. The DJ absolutely smashed it and there was an accompanying sax player that added to the ambience. The dancefloor never quietened down, some fell over and of those who did a couple I managed to capture! In the last hour the DJ dropped the 90’s dance tracks that saw us through to the end.
Here are some more photos from their amazing day at Syon Park. There’s also links below from more wedding I’ve covered there at the bottom!
Syon Park is a historic park and landscape garden located in the London Borough of Hounslow in west London, England. It is the site of Syon House, a Grade II* listed building and former residence of the Duke of Northumberland. The park is home to a wide variety of flora and fauna, including mature trees, ornamental gardens, and a lake
The park has a long and rich history dating back to the Middle Ages. The name Syon is derived from the monastery of St Mary de Sion, which was founded on the site in the 14th century. The monastery was dissolved during the Dissolution of the Monasteries in the 16th century, and the land was later acquired by the Duke of Northumberland. In the 18th and 19th centuries, the park was landscaped and expanded, and the current Syon House was built.
In addition to its natural beauty and historical significance, Syon Park is also a popular destination for events and activities. The park is open to the public, and visitors can enjoy a variety of outdoor recreational activities such as walking, cycling, and picnicking. The park also hosts a range of events throughout the year, including concerts, festivals, and sporting events.
