Shendish Manor
Katie & Chris
Here is Katie and Chris who were married at Shendish Manor a few weeks ago.
This was a big wedding with some 150 guests during the day. Shendish is a large venue and it held them nicely!
There were lots of small details, a Chocywoccydoodah ‘All you need is love cake’, a candy bar with Norwich City cake pops, Norwich City cufflinks on the boys (in fact, lots of Norwich city stuff everywhere).
There was lots of space to work in and the grounds are excellent, because of the time of year all the blossom was out and this assisted in some ace photography. We even did some film work with the RZ67.
I was caught a little of guard when the registrars told me they had to ‘make a quick exit’ because of the Jewish blessing that followed the ceremony (which I didn’t know about – this is happening a lot recently – See Rachel and Stuarts blog post further down)!
The Norwich City Kippah’s were handed out for the gents and the blessing took place, the glass was broken and the rest of the day progressed.
After the formals we had time for some fun and games and we played the game of ‘Stuff a tenner in the grooms pocket as bait for the boys to chase and retrieve’.
Well, usually the Groom either gets away or gets nailed. Never before have I seen the groom get halfway, turn to face them ‘300 style’ and promptly end up getting floored. So props to Chris for being FEARLESS. (You can see the carnage further on).
Katie looked stunning in her dress and led the day beautifully. Katie and Chris are a perfect couple, with great friends and family who rocked the whole day at Shendish Manor. Really good company and great to work with!
Here are some more photos from the day:
