Nonsuch Mansion
Anoushka & James
The style and feeling of any wedding day is unique – I always find that each one has its own voice and mood, a pulse. This was certainly true of the day that Anoushka and James so thoroughly enjoyed at stunning Nonsuch Mansion – except, of course, the sudden appearance of a red devil with heart-shaped glasses. Keep looking and all will become apparent!
Having a venue as truly magnificent as the Grade II listed Mansion House at Nonsuch Park, close to three centuries old yet still thriving, gives a perfect canvas for any wedding.
A nerve-relaxing stroll, on a sunny day, through the leafy wonders and strong-standing trees of the glorious gardens, was an early order of business. They were also in use much later in the day as some of the youngsters treated their wedding outfits to a thorough rolling on the lawn.
The girls’ flower-strewn, kimono-style dressing gowns also added to the theme of colour and style, before the serious preparations began. At their completion, the groom was so smart and equally eager, the bride radiant and so happy, just as things should be on such days. And so they became, according to the cards, Mr Right and Mrs Always Right (I suspect James already sort-of knew that).
Sometimes the colours seemed so perfect together. The guys in a stylish darkened blue, the girls in an astonishingly beautiful deep purple…
Here are some more images from their day:
