This is Sarah and Ed’s wedding from September at Upwaltham Barns in Petworth, West Sussex.

September is a popular time of the year for couples getting married. The sun is kind, the mad temperatures start to ease off and the gardens start to change bringing warmth to their surroundings.

Upwaltham was a perfect location for Sarah and Ed. Sarah loves her flowers so special mention goes to Tawny Flower Studio for their work on the day. They supplied colourful, honest and beautiful flowers for us to enjoy.

It was also good to see Gemma Souter again for hair and makeup. I’ve worked with her across the course of 14 years now!

Having all this colour and light on the day worked wonders for their photos. The addition of a draped ceremony arch was a nice feature to have in the background and later on, for the cake cutting outside. Ed’s Aunty made their wedding cake and it looked lovely (photos further down).
