Here’s Louise and Ricky’s wedding from last September at Upwaltham Barns.

Their wedding had a lot going on and it all started when I was acosted by a multitude of Dachshunds on arrival. I was almost lost to them as the first rule when encountering dogs is to reassure them you’re their new best friend and that you absolutely want to play with them. Forever.

I was only there for about an hour or so before heading off to the Jasmine Cottage at Upwaltham Barns but I spent some time with Ricky and the guys before Louise arrived.

There was a lot to see at their wedding. I loved their hexagonal flower background balloon ring thing that they had (I genuinely don’t know what these are called), the barn was really beautifully decorated and Louise’s dress was stunning and all the other highlights came from the guests. Be that from moonies under the Rugby goal, a packed Moroccan snug where the cool people hung around, the drunken kisses on a quiet dancefloor and people being lifted upon high in a chair.
