Pentax 645z Raw File download page
Download Raw Files for the Pentax 645z here
I’ve made over 100 uncompressed Pentax 645z DNG files available for download.
The total combined file size comes in a 5.4gb. Because of the amount of bandwidth such file transfers use I kindly ask for a token payment towards the cost of hosting them.
The cost is 5 GBP
Here are the details of the images supplied:
- Brighton Seafront (12 images)
- Caroline and Davids Wedding (26 images)
- Portraits (2 Pentax, 2 Hasselblad H4D50 for CCD vs CMOS)
- Mixed (4 images that miss classification)
- Raven and Zak’s Wedding (33 images)
- Woodland Walk at Sunset (8 images)
- Three shoots in Sheffield National Park (16 images)
Some of these images will come with adjustments already applied, just hit reset in Lightroom to restore them to their out of camera versions.
These images are also ‘warts and all’ and I’ve done my best to give you under exposed, over exposed and tricky focus situations along with situations suffering from flare.
Here are some thumbnails of the images included:
Payment is only available by Paypal, my address for payment is studio@chrisgilesphotography.com
Once payment is received the download link will be sent to the email address registered to your Paypal account. This is a manual process and I’ll send the files ASAP.
Have fun with these files but please respect the copyright on them. I hope it helps you to make a decision over which camera is best for you!
Kind Regards,
Chris

Chris, thank you for the excellent series of blog posts.
You did a great job in covering the main differences between the other cameras and after downloading the raw files I totally agree that the dynamic range of the z is outstanding!
Keep up the good work.
Chris
Thanks for taking the time to post a down to earth report on the Pentax- I am not going to download the files because I can’t afford an affair with a Pentax – I currently shoot a 1DMk4 and an IQ180 – and I am pretty aware both have short comings which the Pentax would address.

Thanks Mal!
As soon as I opened up the Raw files (and because I’m a heavy Canon user) I was blown away.
I always used to question the dynamic range hype over the Sony sensors but now I’ve essentially got one I can see what all the fuss is about. I hear the IQ180 is a lovely back and at 80mp too 😀
Keep watching the posts as I’ll be updating them as I use the camera more and thanks for reading.
Chris,
Thank you so much for doing this..truly appreciated.
Warm Regards,
George
Chris,
Great review my friend! I just picked up the 645Z along with the new 90mm f/2.8 and a used 45mm f/2.8. I am very much looking forward to using it on my upcoming paid shoots.
Your review gives anyone with any buyers remorse, a kick in the butt!
Thank you for a down-to earth, no-nonsense, easy to read and enjoy review based on real-world experience (not hype).
Blessings,
Andrew
Awesome work! Thank you very much for sharing this. This is very helpful for beginners like me . I use this: http://www.aftershotpro.com/en/pages/pef-file/ to edit PEF files and with this collection I can practice more. Again, great work and thank you for sharing 🙂
