Chenies Church and Lillibrooke Manor in February Lisa & Jake
Lisa and Jakes Wedding was held at St Michael’s Church in Chenies with their reception at Lillibrooke Manor just down the road. The main barn was decorated simply beautifully and in a really fun way that reflected the time of year (February) perfectly.
They had black tablecloths set against lots of colour and warm tones. Of all the things that made this day outstanding, special mention goes to the tables named after biscuits. This sounds odd I know, but each table came complete with a huge jar of biscuits. These were meant to go with coffee after dinner but half of them got eaten way before then.
Things became further complicated halfway through dinner service when I noticed there was biscuit bartering going on between the other tables. Two fig rolls would get you four Chocolate Hob Nobs. Bourbons and Custard creams were traded on a 1:1 ratio. Hilarious 😀
We also had some fun with coloured smoke bombs, the wind and light played ball just long enough to get some amazing frames.
