What can I say but WOW. Wow, wow, wow WOW!! And that’s before I even get to those wonderful pictures! Let me gush a little first. Bear with as it might get cringe worthy!

It’s really hard to put into words our ‘Chris Giles Photography’ experience and has taken the last week to draft this note as I just can’t find the words to express the love and gratitude we feel because you’re not just a man with a camera. You’ve been a wedding guru, a friend, a giver of advice and a really, another member of the family for the last two years. With every phone call, meeting, email or Facebook post your passion for photography, your clients, and weddings in general is obvious.

Throughout our planning process Simon and I had a ‘gut feeling’ approach to suppliers, venues, styles etc, trusting our instinct rather than judging on price. We always believed that the photographer was one of the most important elements of the day and was incredibly important to get right. As soon as you came to our little flat we knew you were our photographer. Put simply, you just got US. Our approach, our style and our thinking. I was so excited after that first meeting that I cancelled other appointments and dismissed all other quotes.

On the day you were pure magic. I don’t know how you managed to be everywhere but at the same time be such a calming and reassuring presence. Everyone has commented that you were more than a photographer and more like a guest, even running after the unruly children. That is a quality money cannot buy!

Now – onto the photo’s themselves. Perfection. Each and every one captures the emotion, the fun and overall wonder of the day and are a beautiful snapshot of the whole experience. I knew after the engagement shoot they would be brilliant, but they were more than we could ever have hoped for.

I think the saddest thing is that after two years, we have to say goodbye. But, just like the Queen – I’ve found my official photographer and any future events, you’ll certainly be first on my list of people to call. We will miss you both but will continue to follow you and Laura on Facebook and wish you both so much love and happiness together. You are a truly wonderful couple.

Thank you Chris. Thank you for being everything we wanted and much, much MUCH more.

All our love
Clare & Simon – the Ambroses
