Dorney Court
Laura & Will
Laura and Will’s wedding in mid-June was nothing short of spectacular, hosted at the stunning Dorney Court. With 80 of their closest family and friends, they celebrated their big day in a venue known for its fairy-tale charm, complete with gabled roofs, landscaped gardens, and a beautiful 12th-century church. Every part of their day unfolded on the estate, taking full advantage of its picturesque and well-appointed spaces.
The day began with Laura getting ready at the Racecourse Marina Cottages in Maidenhead, while Will prepared nearby at Gale Cottage on the Dorney Court grounds. The atmosphere was one of excitement and anticipation, perfectly matched by the sunny weather that greeted guests as they arrived.
The ceremony was excitable and good humoured. Afterwards guests enjoyed a drinks reception in Dorney Court’s sun-drenched courtyard, a spot that feels almost Mediterranean. However, just as the festivities hit their stride, a sudden downpour brought an unexpected twist to the day. Rather than dampening spirits, the rain added a unique charm, creating opportunities for some truly memorable post-dinner photographs.
The celebration continued in the Coach House Barn, a perfectly restored space that provided an inviting atmosphere for dinner and dancing. From start to finish, Laura and Will’s wedding reflected their personalities and love for each other, creating a day that their guests will surely cherish forever.
