May is a lovely time to get married whatever the weather. There’s so much colour popping out after a long winter that it lifts your emotions and excites you for the summer to come.

Jo and Joe chose Cripps Barn as their wedding venue and it’s a perfect springtime venue to tie the knot at.

They both got ready in Coln St Aldwyn (Jo at the Cotswold Cottage and Joe at the New Inn).

As the ceremony started Jo walked halfway down the aisle alone with Joe meeting her halfway before walking the rest together and the day carried on from there.

We used the grounds of Cripps for most of their photos but on my way to the barn I noticed a field of yellow which we quickly scooted up to after dinner as it made a beautiful backdrop for photos.
