Featured Weddings

Hi, I’m Chris, a full time professional wedding photographer located in West Sussex.
I do my best to shoot all over the UK and overseas because being stuck in one area can get repetitive and stifle creativity.
I love to play with colour, surroundings and form. I go for the heart of a wedding and not the trends. There’s more to weddings than 24 hours on ‘the gram’ and I want to create images with depth.
I love the connections I form at the weddings I attend (the right couples always seem to book me) and I really do feel everyone on the day deserves to be seen and represented.
I’ve been with my wife Laura for over 20 years and she’s also a professional wedding photographer too. We’re a bit of a power couple!
Shooting a wedding is for me not just about being there with a camera but supporting the day with the experience I have. I’ve attended over 700 weddings and bring that experience with me.
I’ve LOTS of reviews, many of which came from pure and simple emails after the event. True, heartfelt and honest.
Let’s not forget your guests
Your guests mean the world to you. It’s why they’ll be there wrapped up in the moment, the history of you both and to celebrate with you.
They’ll also be getting up to things you aren’t aware of. You know what you look like, but not what they did…..
and Don’t say Cheese
Because your love story deserves more than stiff poses and forced smiles. I capture the unrehearsed, unscripted, and unforgettable moments of your day.

#nofilters
Clean, colour correct images are important to me. Images that last for decades and increase in value over time are my goal.
Brown grass, dull skin tones, blue tinted dresses and in the moment filters that will date quickly aren’t to be found here.

‘There isn’t one way to shoot a wedding or any one style that fits the whole day.
You have to be a photojournalist for the moments, a product photographer for the details, a traditionalist for the ceremony and vows, a portrait photographer for family groupings and a landscaper for the setting.
One size never fits all, being able to switch between these sets you apart’.
I went to school with Chris and whilst most of our contact over the years had been online, when it came to our wedding there couldn’t have been a better choice.
And we didn’t make it easy. You see rather than a nice simple church or barn venue, we were getting married and having the reception in God’s Own Junkyard.
If you don’t know, God’s Own Junkyard is what can best be described as a neon museum in Walthamstow (well worth a visit incidentally!), meaning that every inch of the space was filled with bright neon colours!
From the moment Chris turned up for bridal prep at the hotel, to the first dance and the end of the evening, he pulled out every stop to put everyone at ease, make the day fun and provide a fantastic selection of images to remember the day.
If I could give him six stars then I would!
Not only was Chris able to give us a wonderful selection of memories from the day to treasure, but it was also lovely to catch up with an old friend.
He was great at putting myself (the bride) and the rest of the wedding party at ease and was utterly invisible throughout the reception, yet we have amazing photos! Chris really captured the essence of us and our wedding as a whole.
Chris was such a pleasure to work with during all the planning and preparation and no questions were too much trouble for him to answer. He really made the process smooth and stress free! To top it all off Chris provided us with our photos within 3 days!!
I would highly recommend Chris to anyone wanting quality photographs and a pleasurable experience!
Chris is extremely professional yet so much fun. Although we had only met Chris in person on the day of our wedding he made us feel so at ease he felt like a dear friend and another guest. His knowledge of wedding photography is superb. I had never worn such a gown before and felt totally out of my comfort zone but yet Chris knew exactly how to arrange my dress so that it flowed in photos which made me feel less nervous throughout the day. On the subject of my dress.. it actually ripped after my first dance and Chris was able to use his magic and made it unnoticeable to the other guests! If it wasn't for Chris I really don't know what I would have done.
If we could give Chris more than 5 stars we would. He is AMAZING!
He made us and our guests feel completely at ease, had us laughing, A LOT, and captured incredible moments on our wedding day. He really went above and beyond all day, helping the boys do their ties and button holes in the morning, and helping me with my veil when it got too windy! He was very supportive and organised in the build up to the day too.
Chris is not only a lovely, compassionate person, he is amazing at his profession. We've had so many comments about the quality of our wedding photos. Do not hesitate to book him. He's the best!
Before I even got engaged, I knew Chris was going to be our photographer for the big day. Faultless and a such a nice guy. The mums loved him. Everyone loved him. I'm still looking back over the pictures now and discovering more and more gems. Book with confidence and well in advance because he's popular with good reason!
